Our Products
Rachel Katz jewelry is hand-crafted in Los Angeles. All Rachel Katz employees, vendors, and producers work in a manner consistent with our commitment to the environment and the people that produce our pieces. We make every attempt to source our supplies and packaging locally and always use U.S. vendors.

Order Fulfillment

Most in-stock orders ship from our Los Angeles studio within two days of purchase. Holiday and weekend orders will be processed on the next business day. For overnight or rush orders, please email us at contact@rachelkatzjewelry.com to ask about specific items.

If items in your order are out of stock, you will be notified by e-mail.

If an item is on backorder, we will provide an approximate shipping date. Most backorders ship within 2-4 weeks.

Sales Tax
Residents of California pay a 9.0% sales tax on all orders shipped within the state. 

Custom Orders
We do our best to accommodate special orders. Send a detailed description, including relevant measurements and materials to contact@rachelkatzjewelry.com.  Timing and pricing will vary according to your selections. 

Custom orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of being placed. However, all sales are final.  We do not accept returns or exchanges on custom orders.

Shipping
Domestic Orders are shipped via Trackable USPS Mail for $12-20, depending on weight. 2-Day and Overnight Fed-Ex shipping is available for $25-40 depending on weight.

We don’t ship to PO Boxes, and all delivery addresses must be able to accommodate package deliveries. A signature will be required for orders over $395.

International Orders:

International Shipping is $80. Orders are billed in U.S. dollars and shipped via DHL or UPS International using the fastest method possible. Tracking numbers are issued for these orders.

Rachel Katz is not responsible for any additional taxes or duties associated with international deliveries. Customers are responsible for paying any additional taxes or duties at the time of delivery.  

Rachel Katz is not responsible for delayed delivery of packages due to customs or weather related issues.

 

Returns and Exchanges
Unworn, undamaged items in their original condition will be accepted within 14 days of receipt. Pieces with scuffs or other marks will not be accepted.
You can exchange your item for a different size, style or color. Shipping will be charged on the exchange. 
If you return an item, its cost will be reimbursed to your credit card, minus shipping charges.
Items received after 30 days are subject to store credit only. 
Custom orders are considered a final sale. Sale merchandise may be returned for store credit only.
If you are returning merchandise, please notify us in advance at contact@rachelkatzjewelry.com.
Pack your items securely, and include a copy of the original invoice and the reason for the return. Insure your packing and use a shipping method that provides a tracking number. Rachel Katz is not responsible for any return that is lost, stolen, or mishandled by your shipping provider.  
Once your item arrives, it takes approximately seven business days for us to process your request and refund your credit card. Most banks take 2-3 additional business days to post the refund to your account.
Items purchased anywhere other than www.rachelkatzjewelry.com must be returned to the retailer where they were purchased.

Care Instructions
Follow these simple steps to keep your pieces looking their best:

  1. Always store each piece separately. We recommend using the flannel bag we provide with each piece.
  2. Apply beauty products such as perfume, hairspray or deodorant before you put your jewelry on. These products may contain harsh chemicals that can wear away the finish on your pieces. 
  3. Always remove your jewelry before swimming, bathing, doing household chores or using abrasive cleaners.
  4. If your jewelry requires further cleaning, use a mild, non-detergent soap like Dr. Bronner’s -- or any castile soap -- and a soft cloth. Rinse with clean water and pat dry. 
  5. Make sure your jewelry is completely dry before storing.
  6. Clean your jewelry regularly to remove trapped oil and dirt which can cause black marks.

Rachel Katz is not responsible for natural discoloration in materials or damage due to improper care. The materials we use may have irregularities, differences and discolorations. These characteristics are natural and in keeping with the product design.

Repairs
We will fix items for free, up to six months from the date of purchase. After six months, repairs are available for a fee. Contact us at contact@rachelkatzjewelry.com for pricing.

Because size and fit may vary between styles, please use this chart as a general guide. If you are between sizes or want some help choosing the proper size, please contact contact@rachelkatzjewelry.com.
