One-to-Watch: RACHEL KATZ
Strong lines are the foundation of Rachel Katz’s jewelry line, but her career path was never a linear one. Having worked in advertising and film, it was a successful job in real estate that fueled her love for design and mid-century architecture. “I have always been inspired by the shapes of buildings,” says Katz. “I love clean lines, geometric shapes and bold, modern, controlled statements of the '60s.” Those architectural elements are the core of Katz’s collections. Crafted in Downtown Los Angeles, each piece is sculpted, bent and shaped into a bold geometric form.
